Little is known about Kim Jong Il's possible successor Kim Jong Un shown here in an archive photo at the age of 11 in 1994
North Korea's leader Kim Jong-Il reportedly named his youngest son as his successor on Tuesday. Though there was no official confirmation from Pyongyang, South Korean media reports said Kim had informed his party, army and parliament that he had designated his third son Kim Jong Un as his successor immediately after last week's nuclear test.
