Pune under shock after attack on German Bakery
Indian police and rescue workers inspect the site of the explosion in Pune
On February 13, a bomb exploded in Pune, killing nine people and injuring 60. Two foreign nationals were also killed in the attack, and several others are among the injured. It is the first major attack in the country since the series of attacks on the city of Mumbai in November 2008. Police are investigating possible links to the Pakistan-based terror group Lashkar-e-Toiba.

A UN special envoy has begun a five-day visit to Myanmar to evaluate human rights in the military-run country. On Monday Tomas Ojea Quintana met the lawyers of the opposition National League for Democracy party or NLD in the former capital Yangon.

Most of the world's tigers are now in zoos - the wild cats are at risk of extinction within 30 years
This weekend marks China’s lunar New Year. According to the Chinese zodiac, the year of the tiger is about to begin but the wild cats have a tough time ahead. A century ago, there were 100,000 tigers living in the wild worldwide. Today, there are about 3,200.
